Welcome to Barnes London Cars. These Booking Terms and Conditions outline the rules and guidelines for using our services, including private taxi hire and private chauffeur hire. By making a booking with us, you agree to abide by these terms. Our aim is to ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience for every client.

1. Definitions

• Barnes Cars Ltd: A licensed private hire operator registered in England & Wales.
• You / Customer: Any individual or business making a booking with us.
• Service: The private hire and minicab services provided by Barnes Cars Ltd.

2. Booking Process

How to Book

Bookings for private taxi hire or private chauffeur hire can be made via:

• Our website booking form

• Phone reservations

• Email requests

Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email or message detailing the pickup time, location, and service type.

Information Required

To complete a booking, please provide:

• Full name and contact details

• Pickup and drop-off locations

• Preferred vehicle type

• Date and time of service

• Any special requirements

Accurate information helps us deliver a seamless private chauffeur hire experience.

3. Prices & Payment

• Quotes are based on the details you provide. We reserve the right to amend quotations if there are changes to your booking (e.g., route, number of passengers, vehicle type).
• For airport transfers, the fare includes 30 minutes free waiting time after the flight lands. Additional waiting is charged at standard rates. Parking charges are included in the quotation.
• Confirmation of your booking will be sent by email and/or SMS. Please check details carefully. We are not responsible for errors caused by incorrect information supplied by you.
• Payment can be made by credit card, debit card, or cash.

4. The Service

• You are responsible for the conduct of all passengers. A cleaning charge of £100 applies if the vehicle is soiled.
• Smoking, eating, or drinking is not permitted inside our vehicles.
• All children must travel with appropriate child restraints as required by law. Parents/guardians are responsible for providing and fitting child seats where necessary.
• We will not carry more passengers than permitted by our insurance and licensing.

5. Cancellations

• You may cancel a booking by contacting us via phone on 020 8876 6666 and/or emailing booking@barnescarsltd.com
• For cancellations made 60 minutes or more before pickup, a full refund will be issued (excluding card fees).
• For cancellations made less than 60 minutes before pickup, no refund will be issued.
• Refunds for prepaid bookings (where applicable) will be processed back to the original payment method within 10 business days.

6. Liability

• We will make every effort to get you to your destination on time but cannot be held liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, or other events beyond our control.
• All luggage is carried at the owner’s risk.
• If a vehicle breaks down, we will provide a replacement vehicle as quickly as possible.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., missed flights, lost business).
• Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence.

7. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a booking immediately if a driver or vehicle is put at risk due to abusive, violent, or unsafe behaviour by passengers. In such cases, no refund will be given.

8. Miscellaneous

• Barnes Cars Ltd is the principal service provider for all bookings.
• We may update these Terms at any time. The version published on our website will always apply to new bookings.
• Your personal data is processed in line with our Privacy Policy, available at www.barnescarsltd.com/privacy-policy
• These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Barnes Cars Ltd.
• No third party has any rights under these Terms.

9. Disputes

These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law. Both you and Barnes Cars Ltd agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts for any dispute arising from this agreement.
